While doing some research on some “proper” muscle building supplements and fat burners online I stumbled upon BodyBuilding.com. When I got onto the site I had my “normal internet consumer hat on” (by this I mean I wasn’t researching for my sites or projects but as a normal searcher and buyer).As I was going thru their products I quickly figured out that their product pages had a very proper structure with a lot of information on each of the products they were selling. For example almost all their products had a FAQ, VIDEOS, ADS for the products, STUDIES referring to the product, DATA and STATS on the product and more.

This naturally got me in a “buying mode” and I was willing to spend $70 or more on a single product. The information is so well structured and the “Order” button or text are put in the “right” places.

Any how during the process of buying the supplements I realized how they got an “online marketer” in this case me to buy one of their products and usually I am the most cautious and critical online buyer as I know most tricks and selling techniques used by e commerce sites and online marketers.

I usually never click on ads (unless I am doing research for my sites) and I never submit my credit card details until I sign up to the particular sites affiliate program and then buy thru my links. I usually don’t trust a lot of information given by the sites anyways as I know a lot of them are made up ( a lot of my LP have made up data) unless I go and check journals on pub med or similar sites etc.

Now if you want to do affiliate marketing or run an e commerce style site I will highly recommend building sites similar to bodybuilding.com as they know what they are doing and they have been around for years. I bet they have a dozen people updating the products pages with relevant information each day as they are got me buying their products without considering their affiliate program.

The information presented by them is so relevant and gets you wanting to buy their products.
