  If you want to track all the robots and crawlers that have been to your site, I would recommend you to use crawltracker.com Google and most other analytics do not track robots and crawlers for many reasons.
Crawltracker is free and very simple to install and use. It is great to track all the robots which have accessed your site.
I use it to see how many pages have been indexed or been visited by google, yahoo and msn bots.

Hey guys I need to create a buzz about murps.info blog. In order to do this I have come up with an idea!!!. Obviously to create a buzz I will need your help!

Adding a profile to social networking sites such as myspace, facebook, hi5 etc would help you get more visitors to your website. How?
Personally I have got accounts especially made for my websites and blogs. In the profiles I have all the data about the website and for the pictures I either use the logo or some eye catching picture. It is a great tool and helps me get about 5 to 6 extra hits per week. I know this doesn’t sound much but over a month it’s 24 extra visitors from each network.
I would recommend everyone to add their website profile to 2-3 soical networking websites only and this should do the job. Also try and add your rss feeds to the profiles.
Always remember to get your post’s pinged by as many ping sites as possible as this way you will be reaching a wider audience and will be getting more visitors per day. It is essential to have your post’s pinged in todays generation.

I have been going thru few forum threads in the post few days and I came across a very good question from a fellow blogger. The question was something like “Do you click on other bloggers adsense ads, while visiting their site?” There were varying answers to this and some said “yes” while others said “no”.
My advice to this question is Dont click on the ads unless you are really wanting to know about that particular ad. Why? I have used adsense before and so has many of my other friends. Few of my friends have actually been banned from google adsense for the particular reason of getting invalid clicks. The google adsense and adwords system is very powerful, complicated yet smart. It is able to track every click and logs the trend of the users who have been clicking on the ads.
As many of you must know by now that google will ban a users if their ads have been clicked repeatly from the same IP. Well when it comes to clicking on the adsense ads on blogs and if you do it everyday or every few days the system see a pattern and instantly blocks the adsense member from the program. I know you are probably trying to help your fellow bloggers to earn some extra money but believe me it will work for a short period of time but not for long period. The adsense system is too smart with all these fraud clicks. I am sure you do not want your fellow blogger to be blocked from the adsense program and they would not get any thing instead of that something they are getting. Its probably just a matter of $0.20, any ways please do not click on the ads if you are not actually intending to be interested on the products.
Remember Google has a very smart and sophiscated tracking system and the track your every click and probably move as 90% of the sites use google analytics. I bet they are able to gather alot of information about each user itself.
Blogg-Buzz is a digg like site, but it is meant for the bloggers. Why? Digg at times, ban users to submit stories or ban websites from being submitted on their site. This happens as some people tend to spam digg with their articles. So now there is Blogg-Buzz which helps you promote your post’s on their site. It uses the same concept as digg.i.e the points system and the way post’s are submitted. Though it takes a bit of time for the articles to be published on the blogg-buzz website but it does send you few more hits per day. That few more hits per day could increase your alexa rating and may given get you few more backlinks.
From my experience I have got between 5-20 visits from blogg-buzz for an “average” post and alot more for a “great” post.

Youtube has over a 100 million video’s viewed each week. That is a large amount. This is a good thing for the website owners and bloggers. Why?
I have and will recommend all my readers to make a short, but interesting video clip and upload it on Youtube. I would recommend you to add your website url at the beginning of the video and at the end of the video. Do not have the url shown for more then 3 seconds or else the viewers will get annoyed with it and most probably change the video.
By doing this you are bound to get more hits and visitors on your website. This is GREAT!
Secondly when it comes to writing a description about your video, do not forget to add your blogs url in it. Why? this will give you one way back-links to your site and given the popularity of your video, it might come on the frontpage and this could earn you a lot of publicity and back links to your site if people embed your video on their site.
Thirdly always try and give few replies to the comments on the video and do not forget to add your url occasionally to the comments. Again this will give the back links to your site.
